The Student Career and Employment Services assists students with their career and employment planning.

We provide the following services:
Employment Preparation
- Creating, developing and editing resumes and cover letters
- Assisting with application forms
- Preparing for job interviews
- Conducting mock interviews
- Assisting with portfolio development
- Assisting with volunteer opportunity searches
Job Search
- Providing effective job search techniques
- Registering students on WorkopolisCampus (www.workopoliscampus.com)
- Assisting with employer contacts and job leads
- De-briefing interviews
Career Planning
- Assisting with the career planning and decision making process
- Providing up-to-date labour market, education and training information
- Assisting with job shadowing and information interviewing
Other Services
- Student Careers and Employment Services provides computer and telephone access for job search and career planning purposes
- The Resource Centre has information on job search (WorkpolisCampus sign up and The Edmonton Journal), occupational research and educational planning
- The consultants facilitate presentations and workshops to groups on all employment and career planning topics
